Steven D. Bell is the founding member of Steven D. Bell Co.

Steve was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, serving as Chief of the Civil Division and Chief of Appellate Litigation in that Office. He was appointed jointly by the Attorney General of Ohio and Ohio's Secretary of State to lead a team of investigators looking into campaign finance violations committed by various elected officials in Ohio. That investigation resulted in record civil penalties being assessed against those elected officials.

In 1999, Steve was nominated by President Clinton to be a United States District Judge for the Northern District of Ohio. The Senate took no action on his nomination.

Steve has been named one of the Best Lawyers in America. He is rated "A-V" by the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory, and has been named an "Ohio Superlawyer" by Cincinnati Magazine in each year such a list has been published. He has also been named as a "Leading Lawyer" by Northern Ohio Live Magazine for the past 5 years. He has served as a member of the adjunct faculty at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is a Master Bencher in the Cleveland Employment Lawyers Inns of Court. He lectures frequently on professionalism, ethics, employment law and litigation techniques. Steve is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Ohio, the District of Columbia, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third, Sixth, District of Columbia and Federal Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.

Steve is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Akron School of Law. He is the father of two children.

Maryann Schultz Kuzila is from Youngstown, Ohio and moved to the Cleveland area to attend college. In addition to an Associate’s degree in business, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University as well as a Master’s degree from John Carroll University. She has over 15 years of experience as a paralegal and has worked extensively in all phases of civil, criminal, class action and appellate matters. Maryann is a Professional Counselor and has completed ABA and other professionally-sponsored seminars and training in the areas of mediation and conflict resolution.
